This weekend was a bit of a washout and definitely colder than the past few days, but the boys were not upset. We threw on our rain jackets and jumped in the puddles! The rain also raised some great questions from the boys like 'Why does it rain' and 'Where do the animals go when it rains'? (The questions are getting tougher as they get older.) We're usually walking to and from town or the local school as a way to grab some outside time, and enjoy the great neighborhood we live in...It helps that there's a great coffee shop in town for Mom & Dad that serves up crumb cake for the boys. If the weather allows, fresh air is a must. We have multiple modes of transportation including bikes, scooters, toy cars, and a wagon (if the kids have a large haul of snacks in tow). We go to the city on a regular basis to visit Dad's office, eat hot dogs, and most importantly - ride on the train...Our boys are in full transportation mode and love anything that moves including airplanes, cars, trucks and trains.
