The Importance of Family

Hi Little Ones,

Your mother and I have been running as hard as we can, but it feels like we've just been running in place. The big wheel keeps turning, and somehow we're still back at "square one."

It's amazing to think of the number of false starts and ups and downs we've faced in the adoption process. But we're as determined as ever to start a family and we can't wait to meet. We know you're out there, and we're waiting for the day we can finally see you.

Both your mom and I come from big, happy families, and it's been our dream to eventually have a family of our own. In fact, before we even started down this road, we spoke about having children through adoption on one of our first dates. We've seen adoption as having a part to play in helping us grow our family for a long time.

The good news is that while we wait to meet you, we have our own strong families we can depend on. And they are looking forward to finally meeting you with all the love and open arms they shower us with every day.
